Metal only: what it means
Summary
The one visual rule of this series: only metal materials, no concrete-looking parts.
Satisfactory lets you build the same part in different materials and finishes. A foundation can look like concrete, asphalt or steel.
In this series I only use metal.
Foundations
- Allowed: FICSIT Foundation and Grip Metal Foundation
- Not used: Concrete, Coated Concrete and Asphalt Foundation
Finishes
All five are metal, just different looks: Caterium, Copper, Carbon Steel, Unpainted and Chrome. Nothing else.
Walls
- Allowed: FICSIT Wall (Carbon Steel or Chrome finish only) and Steel Wall
- Not used: Concrete Wall, and FICSIT Wall in its normal paint colour
The goal: by the end, the whole map reads as one big steel machine.
